UK house prices showed no growth in year to March, ONS says

May 20 (Reuters) - ​British ⁠house prices ​were flat in ​the 12 ‌months to ⁠March after ⁠a 1.7% ​increase in the year to February, ​the ‌Office for National Statistics said ​on Wednesday.

It marked ‌the weakest reading since ‌the year to April 2024.

Average UK ​monthly private rents increased ‌by 3.5% in the year to ⁠April, ⁠compared ‌with 3.4% the ​12 months ​to ‌March. (Reporting by Andy Bruce Editing by William Schomberg)
