LONDON, Nov 26 (Reuters) - Tax rises due to be announced by finance minister Rachel Reeves in her budget later on Wednesday will raise an extra 26.1 billion pounds ($34.4 billion) a year in tax by 2029/30, according to an estimate published by the Office for Budget Responsibility.
The OBR estimates, published on its website, showed that 15.0 billion pounds would be raised from higher personal taxation and 11.1 billion pounds from other taxes.
Economists had expected around 20-30 billion pounds in tax rises at the budget.
The OBR did not immediately respond to a request for comment. ($1 = 0.7581 pounds) (Reporting by David Milliken, editing by Andy Bruce)
