Tyman CEO steps down after nine years

(Sharecast News) - Tyman chief executive Louis Eperjesi has decided to retire from the role and step down during 2019 after nine years with the engineering components supplier.Spectris director Jo Hallas has been tapped up to succeed Eperjesi as CEO on 1 April.Prior to joining Spectris, Hallas was general manager of the residential controls business at Invensys and has held a number of international management positions with Bosch and Procter & Gamble across Europe, Asia and the US.Chairman Martin Towers, said: "During his tenure, Louis has led the transformation of Tyman into the leading international supplier of engineered components to the door and window industry and has helped generate significant returns for our shareholders.""I am confident that Jo will build on the group's strong track record to lead Tyman to continued future success."As of 0845 GMT, Tyman shares had slipped 1.35% to 255p.
