LONDON (Alliance News) - Tufton Oceanic Assets Ltd on Wednesday said it acquired two general cargo vessels for USD13.5 million.
After the acquisition, the company's fleet is now composed by 14 vessels.
The vessels will be bareboat chartered to a general cargo shipping operator, for an average tenor of 5.5 years.
The company added that its investment manager, Tufton Oceanic Ltd, is working to continue identifying an "attractive pipeline of opportunities" to invest in.
Tufton Oceanic Assets shares were untraded at USD1.03.
