Thu, 15th Sep 2022 09:19

(Sharecast News) - Trustpilot said on Thursday that Zillah Byng-Thorne has been appointed as an independent non-executive director and deputy chair with effect from 1 October.

The company said Byng-Thorne brings extensive technology sector experience, spanning online gaming, digital media and e-commerce, having previously held roles at GoCo Group, Trainline, Trade Media Group, Mecom and THG.

"Her appointment will significantly strengthen Trustpilot's board with over 17 years' experience of sitting on boards and committees of FTSE-listed companies," it said.

Byng-Thorne is currently the chief executive and executive director of media group Future, and non-executive director at Flutter Entertainment.

Chair Tim Weller said: "I'm delighted to welcome Zillah as deputy chair, her appointment further strengthens the diverse mix of expertise on Trustpilot's board.

"Zillah brings with her a wealth of knowledge of business and consumer platforms, as well as experience of international expansion and of helping to scale high growth companies. I look forward to working closely with Zillah as we look to realise our vision to be a universal symbol of trust."
