TP Group Wins GBP1 Million Submarine Carbon Dioxide Removal Contract

Wed, 20th Jul 2016 07:28

LONDON (Alliance News) - Engineering and technology services provider TP Group PLC on Wednesday said it has won a GBP1.0 million contract from an unnamed existing South East Asian customer.

TP, which makes carbon dioxide removal equipment for submarines, heat exchangers and fabrication components, said the contract will cover the supply of a submarine carbon dioxide removal system.

"We are delighted to have secured this contract which further highlights our reputation in the sector. Alongside recent developments in the UK relating to the Trident nuclear programme, South East Asia represents another important growth market for our submarine operations and we look forward to continuing to extend our reach across the region," said Phil Cartmell, TP's chief executive.

TP shares were up 9.7% to 5.49 pence early Wednesday.
