TP Group Secures GBP1.0 Million Contract With Existing Customer

Thu, 09th Jan 2020 11:38

(Alliance News) - TP Group PLC said Thursday it has been awarded a GBP1.0 million contract from an existing long-term customer based in South East Asia.

The engineering services company did not name the client, but said the contract is for the supply of a submarine carbon dioxide removal system.

TP Group said the work will be undertaken at the company's facility in Portsmouth for delivery at the end of 2020.

Phil Cartmell, chief executive officer, said: "We are delighted once again to have secured this contract with a long-term customer in the maritime sector."

"It also demonstrates our growing reputation as a trusted supplier in a global market," Cartmell said.

On Tuesday, TP Group had said its subsidiary Sapienza Consulting Ltd signed a EUR2.2 million master service and license deal with the European Space Agency.

TP shares were up 0.6% in London at 7.04 pence each on Thursday.
