Technology Minerals' Recyclus to get Servicesure lithium-ion batteries

(Alliance News) - Technology Minerals PLC on Tuesday said its 48% owned battery recycling business, Recyclus Group Ltd, will receive lithium-ion batteries for recycling from Servicesure Autocentres.

The London-based battery metals and recycling said under Recyclus' partnership with Slicker Recycling Ltd, Servicesure will send its waste Li-ion batteries to Recyclus for processing and recycling.

Recyclus Director & Co-Founder Robin Brundle said: "As the first UK-based battery lithium-ion recycler at industrial scale, it is our mission to create a cradle-to-cradle sustainable circular economy for battery metals, assuring the supply of battery materials for future generations. We are delighted to now be working with EVSure through our trusted partner, Slicker Recycling."

Shares in Technology Minerals rose 4.0% to 0.65 pence each in London on Tuesday morning.
