Sinclair Pharma continue to fall following yesterday's announcement that the pharma company was ending its distribution agreement for Decapinol mouth rinse with Orapharma Inc. Orapharma, a subsidiary of Johnson & Johnson, held US rights to the product for the dental professionals market. The termination of the deal will lead to a loss of short-term milestone payments. Sinclair is confident that it can secure a more wide ranging licence to Decapinol and this will have long-term benefits for shareholders. Sinclair intends to include the over the counter market in the next deal. Sinclair has negotiated new debt facilities of £9m and is raising £18m from a share placing. The cash will finance the acquisition of products from Solvay Pharmaceuticals. In contrast, shares in animal genetics company
