Tasty shares up as confirms talks with ex-Fulham Shore CEO David Page

(Alliance News) - Tasty PLC on Monday confirmed it has held advanced talks with David Page and Nicholas Wong regarding funding options with a view to investing in future strategic opportunities.

The London-based casual dining restaurant operator said these opportunities may involve an equity placing.

Tasty noted press reports regarding the possible appointment of Page to the board of company.

Page is the former chief executive officer of Uxbridge, London-based PizzaExpress PLC and former executive chair of London-based Franco Manca and The Real Greek owner Fulham Shore PLC.

Wong is the former finance director of Fulham Shore.

Tasty shares shot up 64% to 0.90 pence each on Monday morning in London, from 0.47p at the close on Friday.
