(Alliance News) - SysGroup PLC on Wednesday announced a strategic partnership with Softcat PLC, which it said would solidify its position as one its fellow London listing's machine learning partners.
SysGroup is a Liverpool, England-based IT services, cybersecurity, and cloud hosting provider, while Softcat is a Buckinghamshire-based provider of IT infrastructure technology and services.
According to SysGroup, this partnership with Softcat will open up new avenues for SysGroup in the artificial intelligence and machine learning markets. It added that an ongoing engagement "with a prominent independent pension" and investment management firm, underscores the "potential impact and tangible benefits" of this partnership.
"By combining our strengths with Softcat's industry-leading expertise, we can offer comprehensive and cutting-edge solutions that drive efficiency and innovation for our customers. We look forward to the tremendous opportunities this collaboration will bring and are excited about the positive impact it will have on our clients' success," said Executive Chair Heejae Chae.
Shares in SysGroup were up 7.7% at 33.40 pence each in London on Wednesday at noon.
