LONDON (Alliance News) - Sunrise Resources PLC said Monday it has completed bulk sampling at its CS pozzolan-perlite project located in Nevada.
Sunrise shares were trading up 8% at 0.17 pence each.
The company mined 100 tons of natural pozzolan and eight tons of perlite, which have been sent for testing.
Furthermore, Sunrise said it has awarded a contract to SGS for "processing perlite bulk sample to horticultural perlite grades".
With regards to mine design, internal planning work has been completed, the company added.
"This phase of bulk sampling marks an important transition from exploration, bench-scale testing and smaller scale customer trials to commercial-scale testing and market development. This is progressing hand-in-hand with mine design, plant design and mine permitting," Chairman Patrick Cheetham said.
