CAPE TOWN, July 29 (Reuters) - South African pharmaceuticalworkers launched an indefinite wage strike on Friday, likelyaffecting production and distribution depots, a union officialsaid.
Clement Chitja said around 8,000 members affiliated to theChemical, Energy, Paper, Printing, Wood and Allied Workers union(CEPPWAWU) were expected to protest for higher wages, joiningtheir colleagues in the petrochemical sector who started asimilar strike on Thursday.
