LONDON (Alliance News) - River & Mercantile Group PLC has appointed Smart Metering Systems PLC Senior Independent Director Miriam Greenwood to its own board, it said Wednesday.
Greenwood's appointment as a non-executive director at the asset manager was effective from Tuesday.
As well as being on the board of Smart Metering Systems, she previously served as a non-executive director at Telit Communications PLC and Mithras Investment Trust PLC.
River & Mercantile Chair Jonathan Dawson said: "We are delighted to appoint Miriam as a non-executive director. She has extensive financial sector and remuneration experience which will be very important to River & Mercantile as we grow."
River & Mercantile shares were 2.0% higher on Wednesday at a price of 258 pence each.
