Property services firm Speymill said trading for the year ended 31 December 2009 was in line with current market expectations.Biofutures said construction on site continues to progress as planned and off-site steel structure fabrication work is also progressing well. "Fabrication is well advanced on the physical process plant components and will be progressively shipped in due course," the group said.Empyrean Energy announced it has conditionally raised £1.5m before expenses through an institutional placing of 25,000,000 new shares at a price of 6p each.ICT firm Datatec has acquired BDA Connect Limited, a small management consultancy business in New Delhi. "The acquisition provides Datatec's management consultancy subsidiary, Analysys Mason, with a platform to develop its consulting business in India and to support its existing operations in Singapore and Dubai," said Datatec.Mobile devices software specialist Crimson Tide has won a four year contract from Dublin-based Temperature Control Pharmaceuticals to provide software for hand held devices used in the treatment at home of haemophiliacs. The contract is worth up to €100,000 a year. Seeing Machines , which develops operator fatigue recognition systems, is to raise £3.3m through a placing of 93.65m shares at 3.5p per share. The funds raised by the placing will be used to ramp up marketing of the company's products to the mining industry in Australia, Africa and the Americas.
