Lamprell PLC, up 15% at 40.34 pence, 12-month range 26.50p-88.46p. The Sharjah, United Arab Emirates-based engineer raises GBP21.9 million in share placing and subscription at 32.00p per share. Placing price was discount of 8.6% to Thursday's closing price of 35.00p. Lamprell says directors take 445,000 of shares in subscription for GBP142,400.

Nostrum Oil & Gas PLC, up 11% at 8.94p, 12-month range 6.50p-15.50p. The oil and gas firm expects revenue for the first nine months of 2021 to be higher from last year. For the first nine months of 2021, revenue is expected at USD142 million, up from USD135.8 million last year. Nostrum also says discussions with advisers to a committee of noteholders to agree a restructuring agreement of debt is ongoing, but it believes good progress is being made.
