SimiGon narrows losses

SimiGon gained after the simulation solutions provider narrowed half year losses and said it expects to increase revenues looking forward.Net loss decreased to $1.30m in the six months to 30 June compared with a loss of $1.96m last time. Revenue increased by 0.5% to $1.82m. 'SimiGon continues to make significant progress in the development of our next generation products while having an effective expense control,' said President and chief executive Ami Vizer.'Looking forward to the second half of 2009 and particularly to 2010, the company expects to increase revenues as a result of our existing programs and other contracts we believe will be awarded shortly and will provide a stronger platform for future growth.'
