(Alliance News) - Investment trust Shires Income PLC on Tuesday said it has appointed Jane Pearce as an independent non-executive director with effect from January 1.
Pearce - a chartered accountant - previously worked as an equity analyst at leading investment banks and latterly was an equity strategist at Lehman Brothers and Nomura International.
Shares in Shires Income were up 0.5% at 279.00 pence each in London on Tuesday afternoon.
