LONDON (Alliance News) - Europe and North Africa-focused oil and gas company San Leon Energy PLC on Thursday said it has signed a rig contract for the drilling of the El Aaiun-4 well at the Tarfaya licence in Morocco.
The contract has been signed with Entrepose Drilling, and the well is expected to spud in the second half of August this year.
"As previously stated, one of our main priorities this year has been to commence drilling the onshore Tarfaya well, El Aaiun-4, and the rig contract with Entrepose Drilling brings us one step closer to this," said San Leon Executive Chairman Oisin Fanning.
San Leon shares were down 3.7% to 0.925 pence on Thursday morning.
