Russia requests information from France about crew of seized tanker, TASS reports

MOSCOW, June ​1 (Reuters) - ⁠Russia's ​embassy in ​Paris said on ‌Monday ⁠that it ⁠had requested ​information from the French authorities ​about ‌any Russian citizens ​on board ‌the seized tanker Tagor, state ‌news agency TASS reported.

The ​captain of vessel ‌is, according to preliminary information, ⁠a ⁠Russian ‌citizen, the ​embassy said. (Reporting ​by ‌Reuters; editing by Guy Faulconbridge)
