LONDON (Alliance News) - Rurelec PLC said on Wednesday it has made a repayment of GBP200,000 on the loan facilities provided by Bridge Properties (Arena Central) Ltd.
The power plant developer now has GBP822,260 outstanding, which is due on June 30.
The management of subsidiary Energia del Sur SA notified Rurelec that they intend to repay its outstanding loan of USD687,000 by the end of June.
With Energia's plant back in full operation, its management expects in the third to fourth quarter of 2019 it will star the repayment of unsecured debt owed to Patagonia Energy Ltd, a joint venture between Energia and Rurelec.
Shares in Rurelec rose 11% at 0.89 pence on Wednesday.
