REPEAT: CVS chair steps down from board committees after consultation

CVS Group PLC - Norfolk-based veterinary services - Chair Richard Connell steps down from all board committees, after a major shareholder expressed concern about his membership of the audit committee, making the committee not fully independent. Connell had received only 75% support for reappointment at CVS's annual general meeting, and the company consulted with shareholders following this result. Additionally, the remuneration report had received 78.5% support, and CVS says it has made some changes to its long term incentive plan as a result.

Year-to-date change: up 43%
