Range Resources Completes Work On Trinidad Development Well

LONDON (Alliance News) - Range Resources Ltd on Friday said it has completed work on the second development well at its Trinidad project, GY 180SE, ahead of schedule.

Hydrocarbon sands and oil shows were encountered at the Middle Gros Morne channel sand complex during drilling of the well, Range said. Logging is of the samples is now underway, and the company will seek approval for production testing once the log evaluations have been completed.

The rig used to drill the well will now be moved to spud another development well at the site.

Shares in Range were up 0.1% to 0.4176 pence on Friday morning.
