Quadrise extends exclusive supply deal with Nouryon

Mon, 12th Jan 2026 11:23

(Sharecast News) - Quadrise said on Monday that it has extended its exclusive global collaboration and emulsifiers sales agreement with Nouryon, securing the continued exclusive supply of goods, services and intellectual property for future 'MSAR' and 'bioMSAR' fuel projects.

The AIM-traded decarbonisation technology specialist said the agreement, originally announced in October 2019, was renewed on 9 January and would now run until 31 October 2026.

It said the arrangement covered the exclusive supply by Nouryon of speciality chemicals used as emulsifiers for oil-in-water emulsion fuels and biofuels, alongside associated technical services.

"We are pleased to renew our exclusive partnership with Nouryon, which continues to underpin the development and commercialisation of our MSAR and bioMSAR fuels," said Jason Miles, chief technology officer of Quadrise.

"This agreement reflects our shared commitment to delivering innovative, sustainable solutions for the marine, energy and industrial sectors."

Under the agreement, Quadrise subsidiary Quadrise International would continue to source emulsifier chemicals exclusively from Nouryon Surface Chemistry, which in turn would supply those materials solely to Quadrise for MSAR and bioMSAR applications.

Intellectual property arising from joint development activity, as well as existing IP relating to the MSAR and bioMSAR technologies, was jointly owned by the parties in agreed territories, with the collaboration remaining exclusive in the field of oil-in-water emulsion fuels and biofuels unless otherwise agreed.

At 1041 GMT, shares in Quadrise were down 3.39% at 2.71p.
