Packaging firm Smurfit Westrock plans to delist from London Stock Exchange

May 20 - ​Global ⁠packaging group ​Smurfit Westrock on ​Wednesday ‌said it ⁠intends to delist ⁠from ​the London Stock Exchange, after which ​it ‌would be solely listed in ​New York.

Smurfit ‌Westrock was formed after ‌Ireland's Smurfit Kappa agreed in 2023 to ​buy U.S. rival ‌WestRock for $11 billion to create the ⁠world's ⁠biggest ‌paper and packaging ​company.
