MADRID, May 11 (Reuters) - One Spaniard who is quarantining in Madrid after being evacuated from a cruise ship in Tenerife tested positive for hantavirus, the Health Ministry said on Monday.
The remaining 13 Spaniards quarantining at the same military hospital tested negative for the virus, the ministry said in a statement
The patient presented no symptoms and was in a good condition, the ministry said. Additional tests were being done and a definitive result would be known in the coming hours, it added. (Reporting by Charlie Devereux; editing by Andrei Khalip)
