NextEnergy Solar Fund Acquires Three Plants With 18.0MWp Capacity

LONDON (Alliance News) - NextEnergy Solar Fund Ltd on Tuesday said it has agreed to acquire three plants with an 18.0 megawatt peak capacity and an investment value of GBP18.1 million.

The fund said a share purchase agreement has been exchanged to acquire the 8.0MWp Ellough Solar 2 solar plant, which will be an extension of NextEnergy Solar Fund's Ellough plant.

In addition, share purchase agreements have been exchanged to acquire the 4.99MWp Decoy project, the 4.99MWp Hall Farm.

NextEnergy Solar Fund said it now has secured 24 assets totalling 271.1MWp and a total investment value of GBP314.2 million.

Shares in the company were untraded on Tuesday morning at 102.50 pence.
