LONDON (Alliance News) - Nakama Group PLC on Monday said it has opened a new office in New York and appointed Jane Richardson as managing director of the North American operations.
The recruitment consultancy firm is undertaking a global expansion plan and already has five offices across Asia and Europe.
Richardson was previously director of strategic relationships at staffing and outsourcing firm Aquent.
"Our investment in this launch phase of our New York business reflects and responds to the strong demand for the specialist digital recruitment services that Nakama Global can provide. Our fast-growing client base and Jane's strong digital industry experience puts us in an excellent position to continue our growth trajectory in the US," Chief Executive Rob Sheffield said in a statement.
Shares in Nakama were untraded on Monday, last quoted at 1.85 pence.
