Mortice Appoints Indian Tax And Law Experts To Board

LONDON (Alliance News) - Security and facilities management company Mortice Ltd on Monday said it has appointed Pallavi Bakhru and Richard Gubbins as non-executive directors with immediate effect.

Bakhru is currently the group head of taxation at Vedanta Ltd, the Indian natural resources company that is a 62.9% subsidiary of FTSE 250-listed Vedanta Resources PLC.

Gubbins, meanwhile, is a senior corporate partner at law firm Ashurst in London and heads its India practice.

Mortice is incorporated in Singapore but is based in India, with operations also in Singapore and the UK.

Meanwhile, non-executive Rakesh Aggarwal has stepped down from the Mortice board with immediate effect, the company said.

Mortice shares were untraded on Monday, having last traded at 94.80 pence.
