LONDON (Alliance News) - LXB Retail Properties PLC on Thursday said East Northamptonshire Council's planning committee voted unanimously to approve its revised and enhanced Rushden Lakes shopping and leisure centre development application.
The real estate investment company said, due to the scale of the proposed development, the application will now be referred to Communities Secretary Sajid Javid to consider whether to "call in" the application.
However, if Javid decides not to review the decision, LXB said it should be issued planning permission once a section 106 agreement is signed.
Shares in LXB were up 11% at 42.00 pence on Thursday morning.
