LONDON (Alliance News) - LightwaveRF PLC shares rose in early trade on Thursday morning after the company said it has reached an agreement with Apple to use the Apple MFi logo to promote its products on the iPhone, iPad and iPad devices.
Apple has assisted Lightwave, which makes Internet of Things-based smart home products, in implementing the right protocol in Lightwave's weblink in order to allow its customers to get the benefits of the Apple Homekit Development platform.
Homekit is a framework on the iOS 8 operating platform for communicating with and controlled connected products in a user's home.
Lightwave shares were up 4.2% to 37.00 pence in early trade on the news.
