LightwaveRF Appoints Ex-Samsung Executive As Chief Revenue Officer

LONDON (Alliance News) - Smart home products provider LightwaveRF PLC on Thursday said it has appointed Adam Williams as chief revenue officer with immediate effect.

He will be responsible for increasing revenue through wholesale, retail and direct for the UK and establishing international distribution, the company said.

Williams' most recent role was at online technology retailer Enjoy Technology Inc, where he was responsible for establishing its European operations, and prior to that was a part of Samsung Electronics Co for four and a half years from January 2013 to June 2017, leaving as senior director and head of European Channel Group.

"Adam has considerable experience in consumer technology products and an extensive network with major distributors and retailers in the UK and Europe. He is a talented sales leader with the energy and drive to lead revenue growth for the company in our core UK market, and prepare us for international expansion. I am delighted to welcome Adam to our management team," said Chief Executive Andrew Pearson.

Shares in LightwaveRF were up 0.8% at 15.62 pence on Thursday.
