Lakehouse CEO steps down

(ShareCast News) - Lakehouse chief executive officer Sean Birrane has stepped down from the role and will be resigning from the board, the commercial services company confirmed on Tuesday. In a statement to the London Stock Exchange, Lakehouse said Birrane will remain with the business for an interim period. Executive chairman Stuart Black will move from his current role to become CEO and non-executive director Chris Geoghegan will become non-executive chairman. "In addition, the company intends to appoint another independent non-executive director to the board with appropriate listed company experience and has commenced a process to identify a suitable candidate," Lakehouse added. The company also confirmed it remains on track to deliver its revised expectations for the current financial year. At 1545 GMT, Lakehouse shares were up 1.88% or 0.75p at 40.75p.
