LONDON (Alliance News) - Radiation detection technology company Kromek Group PLC on Monday said it has signed a slew of new contracts worth a total of USD982,000.

The group said it won two deals in the nuclear detection and security market, worth a combined USD452,000, to provide radiation detection technologies for security purposes.

The company also secured two contracts in the medical market, worth USD530,000, one for the supply of its Cadmium Zinc Telluride detectors and one for the delivery of its ASIC technology for medical imaging.

Kromek did not name any of the customers.

"We are delighted to secure four new contracts and to add two leading original equipment manufacturers in the nuclear detection field as new customers. The agreements are a clear indication of Kromek's continued progress across its key target segments," said Kromek Chief Executive Arnab Basu.
