Kennedy Ventures directors resign as company's transition continues

(ShareCast News) - Tantalite producer Kennedy Ventures said Peter Redmond and Colin Weinberg have resigned from their role of directors with immediate effect.The group said the decision was taken as part of its planned transition to focus on the tantalite industry.Namibia-focused Kennedy Ventures said both former directors had accrued outstanding fees of approximately £10,000 each and it expects them to be satisfied through the issue of new ordinary shares in the company in due course."I would like to thank both Peter and Colin for all their hard work in the reorganisation of the company which now gives shareholders an exciting future as we redevelop our investment in the tantalite industry," said group chairman Giles Clarke.Kennedy Ventures shares were down 2.44% to 5.00p at 11:28 on Wednesday.
