Kavango Resources Identifies Conductive Anomalies In Botswana Project

Mon, 15th Oct 2018 12:59

LONDON (Alliance News) - Kavango Resources PLC said Monday that it has identified 26 conductive anomalies at its Botswana project following a electromagnetic geophysical survey programme.

The company said that Geotech Airborne Geophysical Surveys of Canada has completed the first phase of the electromagnetic survey over the Kalahari Suture Zone project in southwest Botswana.

The conductive zones identified "could indicate the presence of sulphide orebodies", the company said.

Chief Executive Officer Michael Foster said: "We believe the under-explored area of the KSZ holds potential for the discovery of world class base and precious metals deposits and we look forward to announcing further results in due course."

Kavango shares were untraded at 2.44 pence each on Monday.
