Mon, 21st Jan 2019 12:43

LONDON (Alliance News) - Kavango Resources PLC on Monday said it mobilised phase 2 of the airborne electromagnetic survey over the Kalahari Suture Zone, in Botswana.

The company added that it expects the start of flying to occur later this month. The whole operation is expected to take between four and six weeks.

The survey will to cover up to 2,062 line-kilometres around the area.

Chief Executive Officer Michael Foster said: "We are pleased to be able to announce the start of Phase 2 of the airborne electromagnetic survey.

"The greater depth penetration of the new SkyTEM312 high power system should give Kavango much better discrimination in the prioritization of target conductors."

Kavango shares were untraded at 1.80 pence each on Monday.
