Jelf Group Confirms Talks Over Potential Takeover By Marsh

LONDON (Alliance News) - Jelf Group PLC, a London-listed insurance broker, on Wednesday said it is in talks over a potential takeover by Marsh Ltd.

"Discussions, which are ongoing, are at an early stage and there can be no certainty that any offer will ultimately be made for Jelf or as to the terms of any such offer," Jelf said in a statement.

Jelf shares were up by 17% at 241.60 pence on Wednesday following the news.
