Jelf confirms cash offer talks with Marsh

(ShareCast News) - Jelf Group noted recent press speculation and confirmed on Wednesday that it is in discussions with Marsh Ltd about a possible cash offer for the business.The company, which offers a range of insurance, financial services and employee benefit services to corporates and individuals, said the discussions are at an early stage and there can be no certainty any offer will be made for Jelf, or as to the terms of any such offer.Jelf said it will issue a further statement when appropriate.At 0913 BST, Jelf shares were flat at 207p.
