Jelf has acquired Yorkshire-based insurance broker, Beaumonts Insurance Group, for an undisclosed sum, in a move that will extend the group's network of offices across the north. Beaumonts has offices in Leeds, Bradford, Shrewsbury and Doncaster, which will join existing Jelf Group offices in Hull, York, central Leeds and Manchester. This northern collective will be responsible for nearly 45% of the group's insurance business.Beaumonts is Jelf's second major Yorkshire acquisition, following the Hull-based The Insurance Partnership (TIP) in June. Beaumonts will continue to trade from their existing offices and the company's director will stay with the business.Simon Bland, managing director of Beaumonts, said of the partnership: "We share the same focus on client service and professional standards.
