InterQuest Optimistic As Performance To Date Ahead Of Expectations

Tue, 24th Jun 2014 09:33

LONDON (Alliance News) - Specialist recruiter InterQuest Group PLC said Tuesday that it was optimistic for the remainder of the year as its performance in the year to date has been ahead of its expectations.

In a statement ahead of its annual general meeting, the company said that the positive momentum it experienced at the end of 2013 and in the early part of 2014 in its contract business has continued, and its permanent business saw activity pick up over the last three months.

Additionally, its acquisition Ecom Recruitment Ltd has been integrated ahead of schedule, it said.

InterQuest said its recent company revamp, combined with growing confidence in the economic outlook, underpinned its optimism for the year.

Shares in InterQuest were trading up 8% at 122.00 pence Tuesday morning.
