International Personal Finance plans bond issue to extend maturities

Mon, 27th Sep 2021 08:50

(Alliance News) - International Personal Finance PLC on Monday said it may issue Swedish krona-denominated senior unsecured floating rate bonds under its existing euro medium-term note programme.

The money will be used to refinance the company's bonds maturing in June 2022. Holders of those will be invited to exchange them for the new bonds. The size of the potential issuance was not disclosed.

IPF is a Leeds-based company which sells digital and door-to-door personal loans across Europe, Mexico and Australia.

IPF said the sale would extend its debt maturity profile. The company has hired ABG Sundal Collier AB to arrange investor meetings, starting on Tuesday.

Shares in IPF were up 2.1% to 142.48 pence in London on Monday.
