Intec quashes rival bid talk

Telecoms billing systems group Intec has dismissed reports a new bidder might try to scupper its agreed deal with American firm CSG."The board of Intec notes recent media speculation that another party might beinterested in making an offer for Intec. The board of Intec wishes to clarifythat it is not currently in any discussion with any other party which might leadto a competing offer for the company, it said.Nasdaq-listed CSG, a $700m supplier of customer management and billing solutions to telecoms companies, is paying 72p per share or £236.7m for the British firm.
