Macau Property Opportunities Fund Ltd - investment company - Reports adjusted net asset value at USD136.5 million as at June 30, which translates to USD2.21 - or 179 pence - per share, a 22% decrease year-on-year. The company's portfolio value, meanwhile, declined by 10% over the year to USD275.6 million. Despite the challenging environment, the company said it has made progress on the disposal of assets, with total divestments achieved since mid-2019 valued at around HKD100 million, about USD13 million. "Despite the adverse impact on our divestment timetable caused by the Covid-19 pandemic, progress is being made on achieving divestment of the remaining assets in the Company's portfolio, albeit over a longer timeframe than that originally envisaged. The Board and the Manager remain fully committed to the divestment programme and the return of capital to shareholders," said Chair Mark Huntley.
