IN BRIEF: Kainos Group confirms Russell Sloan as new CEO

Kainos Group PLC - Belfast-headquartered IT provider working across three divisions: Digital Services, Workday Services and Workday Products - Confirms that Russell Sloan has assumed the role of chief executive officer.

In June, Kainos said its CEO of 22 years, Brendan Mooney, will finish his term in the role by the end of September, with Digital Services Director Sloan replacing him.

Chair Tom Burnet says: "I commend Russell and Brendan on the professional nature of the handover process, and as a Board we look forward to supporting Russell as he leads Kainos into the future. We also extend our thanks to Brendan for his leadership over the past twenty-two years and for the ongoing assistance that he will provide Kainos until June 2024."
