IN BRIEF: Gamma says Epiris' PUSU deadline extended to August

Gamma Communications PLC - Newbury, Berkshire-based provider of cloud communications and voice services - Says Epiris LLP now has until 1700 BST on August 5 to either announce a firm intention to make an offer, or announce that it does not intend to make an offer. Says its discussions with Epiris are ongoing. The put-up-or-shut-up deadline was previously extended to the same time on Wednesday, July 8. Gamma first announced on May 15 that it was in "preliminary" talks with Epiris.

Current stock price: 890.25 pence, up 7.3% on Wednesday in London
