IN BRIEF: Eden Research shares up after GBP11 million fundraise

Eden Research PLC - Oxfordshire, England-based developer of biopesticides and formulation technologies for the crop protection, animal health and consumer products industries - Completes a conditional placing, announced back in February. Says it has raised a total of GBP10.8 million through a combination of the conditional placing, a firm placing, and a firm subscription and retail offer, all priced at 4.0 pence per share. Completion of the fundraise was conditional on changes to the enterprise investment scheme and venture capital trust legislation announced in the UK government's Autumn Statement passing into law.

Current share price: 3.30 pence, up 20% on Friday around noon in London

12-month change: up 14%
