Downing Renewables & Infrastructure Trust PLC - London-based renewable energy investor - Acquires two hydropower portfolios totalling 48 gigawatt hours in annual average production for EUR25 million. The hydropower plants are located in Sweden. The acquisitions are largely funded through a drawdown on its Downing Hydro AB Swedish hydropower portfolio debt facility signed in November 2021. The acquisitions are expected to close within one week. The acquisitions will increase the total number of managed Swedish hydropower plants to 17, with a total annual average production of 157 gigawatt hours.
