IN BRIEF: De La Rue renews contract with Microsoft for five years

De La Rue PLC - Basingstoke, England-based security products maker - Signs a five-year renewal of its contract with Microsoft Corp for the supply of innovative authentication solutions to Microsoft's OEM, Retail and Xbox channels. This extends the relationship between the two companies out to 2029. Under the contract, De La Rue will supply solutions to Microsoft partners.

Dave Sharratt, managing director of Authentication at De La Rue, comments: "We are delighted to extend our decades-long relationship with Microsoft once again, and I am grateful for the trust that they put in De La Rue. This contract extension is another example of how we have been successfully building De La Rue's Authentication division to drive substantial long-term growth, as we continue to deliver the most secure and technologically advanced products and services to our customers."

Current stock price: 83.00 pence, up 1.0% in London on Wednesday
