IN BRIEF: CPPGroup CFO Pyper to replace Walsh as chief executive

CPPGroup PLC - Leeds-based products and services for financial services and insurance sectors - Chief Executive Officer Jason Walsh to step down and leave the company with effect at the end of February after six years in the role.

He will be replaced by Chief Financial Officer Simon Pyper, who will in turn be replaced as CFO by David Bowling.

"Jason became Chief Executive Officer of CPP Group in 2016 following several years of regulatory and financial tribulations. In the last six years, he has guided the group to a point where it is financially stable, and where the potential for growth is enhanced. During his tenure, our businesses in India and Turkey, in particular, have enjoyed notable success and steps have been taken to position the group's product portfolio for the digital age," said Chair David Morrison.

Current stock price: 375.00 pence, up 3.3% on Tuesday

12-month change: down 22%
